June Was Red Hot... and So Was VIN Chip! ☀️🚜🏍️

June was one of the hottest on record, but the temperatures weren't the only thing turning up the heat. From farm fields to festival grounds, the VIN Chip team spent the month travelling the country, meeting customers, partners and industry leaders while showcasing smarter ways to protect valuable assets.

From agricultural shows and rural crime discussions to one of the UK's biggest motorcycle festivals, June was one of our busiest and most rewarding months of the year. Here's a look back at where we were and what we got up to.

Cereals Event 2026, Diddly Squat Farm

Our month began at the Cereals Event at Diddly Squat Farm, where we spent two fantastic days meeting farmers, contractors, machinery dealers, landowners and rural businesses from across the UK.

Day one brought glorious sunshine, while day two reminded us that British weather always has a surprise in store! Thankfully, neither the heat nor the rain stopped some excellent conversations about protecting agricultural machinery and equipment from theft.

With rural crime continuing to affect farms and rural businesses, there was huge interest in how VIN Chip's forensic security marking and asset identification system helps deter criminals, prove ownership and support police identification during the recovery process.

It was also great to spend time with our partners at the British Agricultural and Garden Machinery Association (BAGMA) and catch up with Quadzilla (CFMOTO UK & Ireland), alongside many familiar faces from across the agricultural industry.

Royal Highland Show, Edinburgh

Next stop was Scotland for the Royal Highland Show, where Mike joined the Scottish Partnership Against Rural Crime (SPARC) on the Police Scotland stand, as well as spending time with BAGMA on their stand.

The show brought together manufacturers, dealers, contractors and farmers, creating the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how layered security can make valuable machinery significantly harder for criminals to steal and sell.

One of the highlights was fitting a VIN Chip kit to a quad bike live at the show for ATV Services Scotland, allowing visitors to see first-hand how our forensic asset identification system works in practice.

Despite a little Scottish rain, the atmosphere throughout the event was fantastic, and we enjoyed catching up with industry partners including BAGMA, CFMOTO, Solis Tractors UK and many others who share our commitment to tackling rural crime and improving farm security.

Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2026, Ragley Hall, Warwickshire

We finished the month by swapping tractors for motorcycles at the Adventure Bike Rider (ABR) Festival 2026 and what an incredible event it was.

Working alongside the fantastic CFMOTO team, we spent five action-packed days talking to hundreds of riders about motorcycle security and motorcycle theft prevention.

Every CFMOTO motorcycle on display featured the VIN Chip security system, demonstrating how layered forensic security marking helps deter theft, verify ownership and support police identification if a stolen motorcycle is recovered.

Along the way, we met riders from across the UK, caught up with dealers, connected with industry friends and even spent time with British Superbike rider Richard Cooper, former British Superbike champion Billy McConnell and adventure riding expert Nick Plumb.

Of course, the sunshine certainly helped. Thursday's heat was relentless, but it didn't stop thousands of bikers enjoying one of the UK's biggest adventure motorcycle festivals.

One Message Across Every Event

Although each event attracted different audiences, the conversations all centred around the same challenge: protecting valuable assets from organised theft.

Whether it was agricultural machinery, ATVs, motorcycles or other valuable equipment, people are increasingly looking for security solutions that don't just react after a theft but actively help prevent it.
